Orlando, Florida is, has been, and forever will remain the quintessential spot for family vacations.

According to Visit Orlando, over 74 million patrons came to the City Beautiful in 2022 helping claim its spot as the number one most-visited travel destination in the U.S. Of that 74 million, over 50 million visitors came through Orlando’s airport – a 24% increase from the year prior.

Following this tourism and recreation spike, the airport has unveiled their brand-new Terminal C, doing what Orlando does best by bringing innovative elements of immersion to the traveler pilgrimage.

MCO’s Innovative Travel Experience

This state-of the-art travel hub features technological nods to the famous attractions that draw the visitors into the city.

From the first steps inside this terminal, you’re immediately enveloped in the allure of Orlando’s famous attractions.

The Moment Vault, a remarkable 360-screen storytelling experience that effortlessly transports you to different whimsical lands, is one of the terminal’s many allures.

Venture further and you’ll find yourself mesmerized by the the Universal Studio Store.

Witness the hyper-realistic dragon display, a large digital mural that stretches to the ceiling above guests and features a red dragon breathing fire to represent the magic and wonder of Harry Potter, one of Universal Orlando’s most popular lands.

Other gift shops, eateries and things to do within Terminal C will make even your layover feel like a vacation.

Among the list of restaurants are familiar names like Bahama Breeze, Auntie Anne’s, Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, and much more.

The facility doesn’t just serve to entertain guests, though. Amidst all the captivating amusements, Orlando International Airport remains steadfast in its mission to provide a seamless, efficient travel process.

Intuitive technologies like 100% facial recognition for international arrival and departure, automated bin return systems, and flawless bag tracking will have you guiding through the airport with unmatched convenience.

Florida’s Brightline

To add to the excitement, MCO has partnered with the South Florida-based train company to debut a brand-new Brightline station within Terminal C.

This development is a huge milestone for not only Brightline and Orlando International Airport, but for the entire state of Florida.
