The 10 Best Brunch Spots in Orlando

By Kate Cohen

Brunch is the most versatile meal of the day.

Is it breakfast? Is it lunch?

Brunch is whatever you want it to be.

A plate full of pancakes, egg cups, croissants, and strawberries on a table next to a mimosa, a cup of coffee, and a bowl of colorful fruit.

April is National Brunch Month, making this the perfect time to check out some of Orlando’s hottest brunch spots.

Whether you’re craving croissants with coffee, eggs benedict, or a burger, the best brunches in Orlando have a menu that appeals to every appetite.

Here are our favorite places for brunch in Orlando.

‘39 Poolside Bar & Grill

A stack of golden-brown waffles and stainless still containers of syrup on a white plate beside a sparkling blue pool surface.

There’s nothing better than brunch with a view.

When you dine at ‘39 Poolside Bar & Grill at Rosen Plaza on Sundays, you can enjoy your meal looking out over the hotel’s sparkling pool and whirlpool spa, complete with a cascading waterfall.

Enjoy thoughtfully crafted dishes like the French toast stack, made with thick-cut sourdough bread that has been dipped in a brown sugar and cinnamon custard.

Guests who prefer a savory brunch can try the signature ‘39 Benedicts like the smoked pork loin with spinach and creamy Hollandaise sauce or the crabcake benedict for a tasty seafood twist.

In addition to classic brunch fare, you can also order fresh salads, juicy burgers, and made-to-order guacamole.

Pair the poolside aesthetic with a delicious cocktail like the frozen Tropical Passion, made with Malibu watermelon rum, melon liqueur, mango, and strawberry.

White Wolf Café

White Wolf Café has been an Orlando staple for over 30 years. Originally an antique shop, its vintage aesthetic and warm hospitality have helped influence the trendy, bohemian vibes of Ivanhoe Village near downtown Orlando.

Their brunch menu features an array of sweet and savory dishes worthy of observing National Brunch Month.

Enjoy a combo like the Hungry Like a Wolf offering of two eggs your way, pancakes or French toast, your choice of potatoes, and your choice of sausage, ham or bacon. Or, piece together your own perfect platter of eggs, biscuits, bread, meats, and other breakfast items.

If you like your brunch on the sweeter side, do yourself a favor and order their famous cinnamon rolls for an ooey gooey treat.

Santiago’s Bodega

Another beloved brunch experience in Ivanhoe Village is Santiago’s Bodega, a cozy spot serving some of the best Tapas in Orlando.

Every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy an all-you-can-eat Tapas-style brunch with a selection of fresh small plates inspired by classic brunch flavors.

Brunch at Santiago includes complimentary red, white, and sparkling sangria and mimosas. Cocktails like Irish coffee, the Bodega Bloody Mary, and espresso martinis are available a la carte.

Santiago’s has a beautiful indoor dining area as well as a large outdoor patio perfect for brunching al fresco.

Their breakfast menu is full of incredible dishes including raspberry lemon cream pancakes, certified Angus skirt steak and eggs, zucchini bread and cream cheese sandwiches, and smoked salmon benedict.

If you prefer more of a lunch approach to brunch, Briarpatch’s lunch menu includes salads, sandwiches, and mouthwatering handcrafted burgers.

Briarpatch doesn’t accept reservations, so on weekends, you’ll often find a line of people waiting to get a table. The wait, however, is well worth it.

Se7en Bites

There are plenty of other brunch options that feature signature items like their buttermilk garlic biscuit, fried green tomatoes, and their 5-cheese mac n’ cheese.

The Glass Knife’s upscale vintage vibes are perfect for a comfortable yet insta-worthy brunch.

And it isn’t just the atmosphere that’s worth photographing. Their signature pastries, donuts, and cakes are beautiful pieces of art, too.

While they’re open until 10 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends, their food menu is dedicated to breakfast, lunch, and brunch items all day long.

Enjoy avocado toast with a sous vide egg, house-made tomato jam, and lemon creme fraiche, or warm and spicy shakshuka with feta and toasted bread tips. Other salads, sandwiches, and egg dishes round out a menu of flavorful takes on beloved classics.

Pair your meal and sweet treat with a house made specialty coffee or a light and lively cocktail.

You can look forward to The Glass Knife opening their second location on Park Avenue in Spring of 2025.

Pepe’s Cantina

Pepe’s Cantina is a chic, moody restaurant with authentic Mexican influence and a friendly, fun atmosphere.

On the weekends, their playful brunch offers a unique twist on the classic midday meal.

Guests can enjoy tasty dishes like Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles or mix it up with something totally original like tres leches French Toast.

Their menu also features innovative items like pancake tacos served with fresh berries, bananas, and Nutella. Fans of chicken and waffles will love Pepe’s chicken and churros, a fun Mexican-inspired take on a brunch classic.

While you’re enjoying your meal, treat yourself to all you can drink mimosas or sangria as a refreshing palate-cleanser.

The Hampton Social

5. Squeeze in a Theme Park

Cinderella Castle, with pink and gray stone turrets and royal blue roofs, behind a statue of Walt Disney holding Mickey Mouse’s hand.

Orlando is famous for its theme parks, so it’s only natural to feel a strong pull to visit one while you’re in town.

Currently, no park offers half-day ticket prices, so you’ll still need to shell out the big bucks for a half day of admission.

However, if you choose a park that’s open later, you can still make the most of your ticket by spending an afternoon and evening dining, riding, and enjoying every magical moment.

Theme park hours vary by season and day of the week, but parks that are reliably open later include Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT.

Universal Orlando parks tend to close a little on the earlier side but typically stay open late on Saturdays.

Check their websites or your preferred theme park apps to see which parks are open late on your day of choice before buying your ticket.

6. Disney Springs

Pink, yellow, and white daisies in the foreground with greenery while in the background, a large blue and orange striped hot air balloon rises against a clear blue sky.

If you’re looking for theme park magic but without the admission ticket price, spend a half day wandering through Disney Springs.

This beautiful outdoor shopping complex is owned by Disney, so there are plenty of magical surprises in store.

Disney Springs is home to the largest collection of Disney merchandise, World of Disney, as well as a variety of satellite stores selling merch from franchises like Star Wars and Marvel.

In addition to Disney themed stores, you’ll also find name brands like vineyard vines, lululemon, MAC Cosmetics, Free People, and more.

After working up an appetite, settle in for an amazing meal at a restaurant like The Boathouse or Morimoto Asia.

7. Leu Gardens

A walking path with a wood and iron railing through a lush tropical landscape at Leu Gardens, perfect for spending a half day in Orlando.

If you’re hoping to take in some beautiful Florida nature while you’re in town, head to the Harry P. Leu Gardens.

This historic 50-acre botanical oasis is home to over 15,000 specimens. You’ll feel like you’re walking through paradise as you navigate themed gardens brimming with lush flora and pristine design.

From Feb. 1 through Sept. 3, 2025, you can enjoy the beautiful Origami in the Garden exhibit, showcasing colossal folded metal sculptures placed throughout the gardens.

After your time reveling in the greenery, head to the nearby trendy Mills 50 District for a bite to eat at popular local hotspots like Hawkers for Asian street food, Tori Tori for playful cocktails and Japanese pub food, or Pig Floyds Urban Barbacoa for freshly made barbecue.

8. Lounge by the Pool

A beautiful orange cocktail in a hurricane glass sitting on a pool deck beside a clear sparkling pool with a hotel and palm trees in the background.

There’s nothing better than spending a few extra hours laying in the sun and enjoying the beautiful Florida weather.

While you may feel pressure to go out and explore Orlando in your spare time, there’s nothing wrong with grabbing a lounge chair by the pool and killing some time splashing in the pool.

At Rosen Plaza, you can kick back by our seasonally heated swimming pool and whirlpool spa with a cocktail from ‘39 Poolside Bar & Grill for the perfect half-day of leisure.

Even better, our award-winning in-house steakhouse, Jack’s Place, is the perfect spot for a delicious dinner, meaning you can enjoy relaxation and indulgence without ever leaving your hotel.

7 Tips for Solo Travel in Orlando, Florida

One of the hottest travel trends for 2025? Solo travel.

While family vacations, friendcations, and couples’ getaways have their time and place, many travelers have discovered the benefits of going it alone.

Solo travel lets you do what you want, when you want, helping you make the most of your trip.

At the end of each day, you’ll have ample time to reflect on your experiences. Many travelers come away from their solo vacations with a newfound sense of confidence and independence.

A left hand with bracelets holds a Universal Orlando Resort ticket up against a background of crowds, attractions, and palm trees.

March 1 is Plan a Solo Vacation Day.

If you’ve been considering a solo trip to Orlando, this day is the perfect chance to start designing your dream vacation.

As you choose your own adventure, use these seven tips for solo travel in Orlando to guide you.

1. Do a Solo Travel Practice Run

If you’ve never traveled alone before, it’s totally normal to be nervous about your upcoming adventure.

Sometimes, the nerves arise as you’re researching things to do during your Orlando vacation. You may find yourself wondering if your vacation will be as much fun alone (trust us, it will be).

Other times, the feeling comes as a sense of shock when your plane touches down at the airport.

While pre-travel jitters are inevitable, you can minimize them with a few practice runs at home.

Start with a low stakes outing like a trip to the movie theater, where everyone will be sitting in silence. Then, try dining alone at your favorite restaurant.

If you plan to spend your vacation at Orlando’s theme parks, spend a day on your own at an amusement park or carnival close to home.

2. Create an Itinerary

Traveling alone is all about freedom. But first-time solo travelers may be overwhelmed by the number of choices that need to be made: where to stay, what to do each day, where to eat each night, etc.

This is especially true in Orlando, with its wealth of world-famous attractions and restaurants.

The skyline of downtown Orlando looking over Lake Eola and the Lake Eola Fountain at sunset.

Make solo travel easier by creating an itinerary before you go.

As you plan your vacation, consider the following:

  • What Orlando attractions do you want to see? Will each take a whole day, or are there multiple attractions you can visit in a single day?
  • Are there one-off events (e.g., concerts, games, festivals) that you need to prioritize on a specific day?
  • Would you rather be on- the- go all vacation or have ample downtime?
  • Are there Orlando restaurants you absolutely must try? Are they close to any of the attractions you’re visiting?

Use these questions as a guideline to help you plan your ideal itinerary.

3. Pack Practically

When the time comes to pack for your Orlando vacation, you may feel the need to squeeze half your closet into your luggage.

After all, as a solo traveler, you need to be prepared for anything.

But before you start playing suitcase Tetris, remember that you’ll be solely responsible for carrying your bags. Don’t pack more than you can manage by yourself.

The same goes for packing a day bag for the theme parks. You’ll want something you can carry easily, as you won’t have someone to watch your stuff while you’re taking a picture with Mickey.

A woman walks away from the camera along a sidewalk in front of a building with large glass windows, carrying a backpack and pulling a rolling suitcase.

Orlando’s major theme parks provide things like bug spray, bandages, ibuprofen, and water for free, so there’s no need to bring them with you.

Keep in mind that selfie sticks are not allowed at Walt Disney World. Don’t worry — you’re welcome to hand your phone to a cast member if you’d like a picture in front of your favorite attraction.

4. Take Advantage of Single Rider Lines

Sometimes, long waits can’t be avoided at the parks. Without someone to talk to in line, you may want to pack a lightweight book or game to keep yourself entertained.

But when you spot an attraction with a single rider entrance, you can keep that book in your bag. Chances are you won’t need it.

Some attractions at Disney and Universal fill in empty seats with guests who are riding alone in order to help lessen lines and wait times.

Single rider lines usually have shorter wait times. They attract a mix of solo travelers and groups that don’t mind being split up.

As of early 2025, attractions with single rider lines include:

Single Rider Lines at Walt Disney World

Expedition Everest (Animal Kingdom)

Millennium Falcon Smugglers Run (Hollywood Studios)

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (Hollywood Studios)

Test Track (EPCOT)

Single Rider Lines at Universal Orlando Resort

Dr. Doom’s Fearfall (Islands of Adventure)

The Incredible Hulk Coaster (Islands of Adventure)

The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man (Islands of Adventure)

Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls (Islands of Adventure)

Men in Black Alien Attack (Universal Studios)

5. Seek Out Ways to Socialize

Traveling to Orlando on your own doesn’t mean spending your whole trip alone.

You never know who you’ll meet when traveling solo. You may strike up a fascinating conversation with someone from another part of the world or get useful travel tips from an Orlando local. A random chat in a ride queue could result in a long-term friendship.

Here are some easy ways to meet people while traveling:

  • Sit at the bar at a restaurant and chat with other diners.
  • Buy a ticket to one of Orlando’s many dinner theaters. You’ll be seated with other guests, and the live entertainment is a great conversation starter.
  • Save a spot with the Dinner Party Project. Once a month, this initiative brings eight strangers together for a delicious meal.
  • Book a small group tour and get to know the other travelers. In Orlando, you’ll find everything from thrilling airboat tours to a unique walking tour about Mister Rogers’ time in Central Florida.

6. Keep Safety in Mind

A woman wearing Minnie Mouse ears stands in front of the red and pink lit Dumbo attraction at night with bubbles floating in the background.

Well-lit, busy, and patrolled by security, Orlando’s theme parks are a great first foray into solo travel.

Still, in and out of the parks, it is crucial to take precautions. While exploring Central Florida alone, follow these safety tips:

  • Share your itinerary, including your hotel information, with a friend or family member back home. If your plans change, let them know.
  • Book your flights so that you arrive and depart from Orlando International Airport in the daylight.
  • Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Avoid scrolling on your phone or listening to music in public if you find these activities distracting.
  • Always lock and deadbolt your hotel room door. Leave valuables like your laptop and passport in your hotel safe.
  • Get to know people before telling them you’re traveling alone. If someone asks, you can always tell them that a friend or significant other is meeting you in Orlando later in the day.
  • If spending a day at a beach near Orlando, only swim where lifeguards are present. Before hitting the waves, store any valuables in your rental car or invest in a small waterproof bag you can bring with you.

7. Stay in a Centrally Located Orlando Hotel

Navigating a new city as a solo traveler can be daunting.

Spend less time poring over a map and more time enjoying Orlando.

Rosen Plaza is on International Drive, within walking distance of world-class restaurants and shops.

If you’re headed to Universal Orlando, skip the drive and meet new friends on our free theme park shuttle.

Each night, reflect on your solo travel experiences in your modern and spacious guestroom before getting a good night’s sleep and refueling for another day of adventure.

A hotel room with a dark blue accent wall, a bed with white linens and a blue pillow, and a wood dresser with a television. Rosen Plaza is a wonderful destination for solo travel.

If you’re looking to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at a close-knit community bar, head to the aptly named Claddagh Cottage in Orlando’s hip Hourglass District.

The pub’s owners are fixtures in the local Irish music scene, so it’s no surprise that the Claddagh Cottage hosts some of Orlando’s best Celtic acts every weekend.

Every other Wednesday, musicians of all skill levels come together for one of Orlando’s most unique jam sessions. While grooving along to authentic tunes, enjoy a pint of Smithwick’s or Kilkenny beer with a sausage roll, corned beef sandwich, or mushroom pasty.

On St. Paddy’s Day, Claddagh Cottage typically hosts an outdoor celebration with a cash bar and some of their favorite live acts.

A green hat with a shamrock sits on a table next to four pints of green beer.

4. Finnegan’s Bar & Grill

Spending St. Paddy’s Day at Universal Orlando? You can celebrate without leaving the theme park.

Just follow the rainbow to Finnegan’s Bar & Grill in Universal Studios’ New York section.

This watering hole offers a wide selection of Irish whiskeys, beers, and ciders. If you can’t decide between two drafts, split the difference with a beer cocktail, like the Black Velvet (Guinness and Magner’s Cider) or Half and Half (Guinness and Harp).

Food options include Scotch eggs, beef stew, and both traditional and plant-based shepherd’s pies.

In 2020 and 2021, Orlando Weekly readers voted Finnegan’s as the best theme park bar in Orlando.

5. Harp & Celt

Whether you call it “soccer” or “football,” downtown Orlando’s Harp & Celt is the perfect place to watch the world’s most popular sport.

This Irish pub has two sections. The Celt is a busy sports bar that shows all Orlando City SC and Premier League games.

The Harp is a quieter, cozier space, perfect for catching up with friends.

No matter where you sit, you can enjoy their wide range of Irish and domestic beers, plus entrées like mussels cooked in Magners, sausage rolls, and wings tossed in an Irish whiskey sauce.

Every March 17, the Harp & Celt hosts a lively street party with live music and healthy helpings of corned beef and cabbage.

6. Raglan Road

This Irish restaurant brings the heart of Dublin right to Disney Springs.

Named after one of the most famous streets in Ireland, Raglan Road is a pub decorated with furniture and art straight from the Emerald Isle.

This pub serves authentic Irish beer, food, and desserts.

Raglan Road doesn’t just celebrate St. Paddy’s Day — they do St. Paddy’s Week.

Their annual Mighty St. Patrick’s Day festival features seven days of exclusive menu items, traditional Irish music, and the fancy footwork of professional dancers. The family-friendly St. Paddy’s event has drink specials for adults 21+, while kids can get in the Celtic spirit with games and face painting.

7. Kitty O’Sheas Irish Pub and Buffalo Bar

Right around the corner from Disney Springs is Kitty O’Sheas.

This Irish-themed bar serves a variety of alcohol and offers inside and outside seating with plenty of TVs and room to relax.

The food menu includes burgers, Buffalo wings, cheesesteaks, and Reuben sandwiches.

The pub’s laid-back atmosphere offers a perfect place to wind down after your day of debauchery.

In previous years, Kitty O’Sheas has rung in St. Paddy’s Day with green beer, a DJ, and a live bagpipe performance.

5 of Our Favorite Food Halls in Orlando

By Kate Cohen

Appeasing every palate in your party can be a challenge. A great food hall can be the perfect compromise.

Food halls are a contemporary reimagining of a food court with a focus on local eateries, breweries, and boutiques rather than large chains. There’s usually a variety of food options, plenty of seating, and a focus on community and small businesses.

Orlando is an amazing foodie destination and home to several food halls that are definitely worth a visit.

As food lovers and experts in all things Orlando hospitality, we at Rosen Plaza have put together a list of 5 of our favorite food halls in Orlando for you to check out.

5 of Our Favorite Food Halls in Orlando

East End Market

A sign reads "East End Market" in front of a two-story building surrounded by lawn, gardens, and pathways. East End Market is an incredible food hall in Orlando.

Located in the beautiful and creative neighborhood of Audubon Park is East End Market, a treasure trove of Orlando culinary gems.

In East End Market, you’ll find restaurants like the original Gideon’s Bakehouse location, a bakery known for its behemoth half-pound cookies and extraordinary demand at their Disney Springs storefront.

It’s also home to Domu, a Michelin Bib Gourmand-awarded ramen restaurant known for house-made noodles, creative small plates, and seasonal cocktails (the Domu wings are a must-try.)

The vegan Winter Park Biscuit Company, fanciful cheese shop La Femme du Fromage, and mochi donut mogul Dochi can all be found at East End Market as well.

Another unique draw of East End Market is their incubator kitchen that showcases a rotation of the greatest culinary innovators and chefs in Orlando. Many of the city’s Michelin-starred restaurants have humble beginnings that can be traced back to East End Market.

The Great Southern Box Company Food Hall

The Great Southern Box Company Food Hall is Orlando’s newest culinary collective in the heart of the historic Packing District. This newly revitalized community is named for an era when philanthropist and citrus businessman Dr. Phillips used the area to package his oranges before shipment.

Today, the original Dr. Phillips citrus warehouse has become a culinary hub that celebrates immigrant cuisine.

Fui Yo Mexicana began as a mid-pandemic pop-up phenomenon and has found a permanent home serving some of the best birria tacos in Orlando. For a flavor profile from further south, BRAZA serves up mouthwatering Brazilian barbeque/American fusion cuisine like juicy steaks and flavorful sandwiches.

Additionally, you can find Jamaican food at Kayos Jamaican Grill, Nepalese and Indian at Dancing Yeti, Lebanese at Kebab 2 Go, Cuban at A Lo Cubano Kitchen, and plenty more. You can sample flavors from around the world without ever having to repark your car.

Plant St. Market

Winter Garden is a charming neighborhood just west of Orlando with a picturesque downtown district and a lovely main street known as Plant Street. At one end of town is Plant St. Market, a bustling food hall and artisan market connected to the popular Crooked Can Brewing Company.

Each of the 20 vendors in Plant St. Market feature natural, organic food and handmade goods.

Before you settle down at a table on the pet-friendly outdoor patio, grab a freshly made sushi roll or sashimi from Norigami, made-to-order specialty mac and cheese from Mac’d Out, or flavorful Ecuadorian baked empanadas from Empanadas & Co.

There’s also barbecue from This Little Piggy, fresh guacamole and ceviche from Ceviche Mix, and delicious tacos from Hunger Street Tacos.

Finish off your meal with a refreshing hand-crafted beer from the award-winning Crooked Can Brewing Company and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of downtown Winter Garden.

Boxi Park

A blonde woman sips a beer with a gray and black dog in her lap. Behind her is a stage with a sign that reads "Boxi Park" and in front of her is a tray of food with burgers, fries, and beer. Boxi Park is a great Food Hall in Orlando.

Boxi Park is a one-of-a-kind open-air container park in Lake Nona. It’s home to a large, covered stage that hosts live entertainment, trivia nights, and other exciting special events.

Surrounding the stage is a variety of seating and eight food and bar counters made from repurposed shipping containers.

Treat yourself to delicious wings and chicken sandwiches from Fowl Play, or a succulent lobster roll and lobster fries from Claw and Order.

Canonita serves tasty tacos and nachos that pair perfectly with refreshing margaritas from La Cajita. If you’re craving a burger, The Grill Next Door has the perfect menu for your appetite.

Bar Nona and Hops and Vine have plenty of signature cocktails, craft beers, and classic wines for diners over the age of 21.

Wrap up your visit with a chilly sweet treat from the popular ice cream counter Before it Melts.

Marketplace at Avalon Park

A covered patio at night with booths and tables of people, string lighting overhead, and waiters walking through the aisle. The Marketplace in Avalon Park is a great food hall in Orlando.

Avalon Park is another quaint Orlando neighborhood known for its restaurants, festivals, and community events.

Marketplace at Avalon Park is a relatively new addition to the downtown Avalon area that has become a popular destination for dining, drinking, and enjoying live entertainment on the weekends.

Inside, you’ll find eateries like Resto Urban Kitchen, an Argentinian restaurant with a menu of empanadas, milanesas, salads, and desserts. If you’re craving Asian flavors, try a unique fusion of Vietnamese and Thai food from Yumfinity.

Cheese to Share offers tapas-inspired cheese dishes designed to split with your favorite people. Pepe’s Cantina Express is the perfect spot for sangria, margaritas, and quick Mexican food like burritos, tacos, and salads.

Bowigen’s Beer Company’s Taproom in the Marketplace carries an assortment of their award-winning brews with something for every palate on tap.

Dine indoors for air-conditioned comfort or grab a table or a comfy couch outside to enjoy the warm Florida sunshine.

Enjoy an Array of Flavors When You Stay at Rosen Plaza

After you’ve explored your fair share of Orlando’s best food halls, return to your contemporary, comfortable hotel room at Rosen Plaza.

We have our own variety of delicious flavors ready to be explored at our onsite restaurants like Jack’s Place and ‘39 Poolside Bar and Grill.
