Grab your lederhosen and your favorite beer stein – it’s time to celebrate Oktoberfest in Orlando!

This Germanic festival is a celebration of Bavarian culture, including beer, music, dancing, games, and culinary traditions.

Oktoberfest originated in Munich in the early 1800’s as a royal wedding celebration. In the 200 years that followed, its popularity led to thousands of Oktoberfest festivals popping up all over the world.

Orlando is no exception.

Don’t be fooled by the name; Oktoberfest takes place in October or September. Traditionally, it lasts two full weeks leading up to the first Sunday in October.

The German American Society of Central Florida throws not one, but two Oktoberfest celebrations each fall.

Tickets are required and can be purchased in advance. In 2026, advance tickets on Eventbrite are $7 per person, or $10 when bought at the gate. Kids ages 11 and under are free.

Oktoberfest in Avalon Park

Beer Garden Preview Friday, Oct. 9, 2026, 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Avalon Park is a charming neighborhood in East Orlando known for its seasonal celebrations.

Every year, the Oktoberfest festival draws thousands of people of all ages to the area for a free evening of live polka music, Alpine dancing, food vendors, and more.

The event features a special wiener dog race that always draws a crowd. This year’s celebration is even more special with a Kids Entrepreneur Market, a designated teen area, and a car show.

Avalon Park’s Oktoberfest celebration also includes an adults-only Beer Garden where you can enjoy a refreshing brew. Preview the Beer Garden and raise a glass the Friday before the event.

 

Krush Brau Park

September 16 – October 25, 2026

One of the best places to enjoy Oktoberfest season is Krush Brau Park in Kissimmee, a German-inspired beer garden owned by a U.S. Army veteran once stationed overseas in Germany.

The bar/restaurant has become a vibrant multicultural destination celebrating German beer, food, music, and other cultural treasures.

Every year, Krush Brau Park hosts a variety of Oktoberfest events and specials, including the largest German Beer Garden in the US with over 10 acres of tented celebration space.

There is also a German marketplace where you’ll be able to pick up special memorabilia, unique souvenirs, clothing, and beer steins.

Live entertainment, a dedicated kid’s play area, face painting, and other attractions make this a great family-friendly event, too.

Winter Parktoberfest

Winter Parktoberfest is one of Central Florida’s newest Oktoberfest celebrations.

Held in Mead Garden, this event unites a diverse community of locals with polka musicians, authentic German food, and adorable dachshunds.

Started in 2024, the past two year’s events featured food from Hollerbach’s, Orlando’s premier German restaurant, and plenty of flowing local beer and wine.
