The restaurant is a fond love letter to Rosen Hotels & Resorts founder and COO Harris Rosen’s father, Jack. Jack Rosen worked as a safety engineer at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City in the 1930s, where he met countless celebrities staying at the hotel. He began to sketch caricatures of the famous guests, and eventually became the Waldorf Astoria’s resident caricature artist.

Jack Rosen is credited with creating more than 100,000 caricatures in his lifetime. A special selection of his work, including images of guests such as Queen Elizabeth II, Alfred Hitchcock, and Neil Armstrong, proudly hang on the walls of Jack’s Place.
