GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The award-winning 800-room Rosen Plaza® sets a spectacular standard of hospitality, service and value. More than just a first-class meeting facility, this 14-story hotel offers a highly-respected professional staff and outstanding accommodations. The Rosen Plaza Hotel is an ideal headquarters hotel that caters to virtually every meeting need of groups from 10 to 2,800. The hotel combines impressive meeting capabilities with resort-style luxury in a world-class vacation destination.

LOCATION

Rosen Plaza is located on International Drive, adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center. This premier hotel is at the center of Orlando’s famous theme parks, only 15 minutes from downtown Orlando, across the street from Pointe Orlando shopping, dining and entertainment complex, and only 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts currently owns and operates seven properties in the Orlando destination market. These properties total more than 6,300 rooms and suites. CONVENTION FACILITIES

The hotel offers over 60,000 square feet of state-of-the-art, sophisticated meeting space, including the 26,000- square-foot Grand Ballroom and 22 distinctive meeting rooms. Advanced technical support, two permanent registration areas featuring lockable offices and separate storage, high-tech teleconferencing and simultaneous translation are also available at The Rosen Plaza Hotel.

At Rosen Hotels & Resorts, the safety and security of our guests, visitors, associates, and property is our top priority. Rosen Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to visually inspect all guestrooms for wellness checks, security, maintenance, or other purposes, even when the Room Occupied sign is displayed.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts Firearm and Weapons Policy
This Firearm and Weapons Policy is intended to ensure a safe environment for everyone on Rosen premises and applies to all individuals present on Rosen property.

We recognize that some individuals may lawfully possess firearms and weapons. However, for the protection of all people and property, firearm and weapon possession on Rosen Hotels & Resorts’ private property is strictly regulated. This includes all Rosen locations – hotels, restaurants, retail outlets, spas, the golf course, business offices, and surrounding grounds.

Rosen Hotels & Resorts strictly prohibits all individuals from openly carrying or visibly displaying firearms and weapons.

Firearms and weapons may be brought onto the premises for storage purposes under the following conditions:

  • Firearms and ammunition must be transported in a locked, hard-sided firearm container supplied by the individual.
  • Firearms, ammunition, and weapons must be securely stored in a guest room or personal vehicle (except during transport to or from a guest room)

Individuals are solely responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local firearm laws in Orange County, Florida.

Failure to comply with this policy may result in removal from the premises without refund and, when appropriate, notification to local law enforcement.

All visitors (non-guests), contract workers, and vendors are prohibited from open carry and concealed carry of a firearm and weapon on any Rosen property and/or any subsidiary property.

This policy does not apply to active law enforcement officers and military personnel who are on duty and required to carry firearms as part of their official responsibilities. Rosen Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis.

GUEST SERVICES

The hotel offers an extensive array of guest services capable of fulfilling a wide variety of guest needs. These services include:

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi in guestrooms and public areas. Enhanced Wi-Fi is available at $9.95/day (5mbps) and $14.95/day (10mbps)
  • Regular transportation to Orlando International Airport (offered at special guest rates)
  • Full-service on-site concierge desk
  • On-site RICOH Business Center
  • On-site self and valet parking
  • Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, free for hotel guests
  • Self-parking: $29 and valet parking: $39 (both prices plus tax; prices subject to change)
  • Oversized vehicles that are not part of a group will be charged double the standard self-parking rate
  • Attraction ticket sales and scheduled transportation arrangements
  • Babysitting, private tour guides, and translators

GUEST ROOMS:

The hotel provides 800 deluxe guest rooms featuring free Wi-Fi and hard-wired internet, new 32-inch flat screen TVs with in-room movies and video folio review/check-out, in-room safes, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, coffee makers, computerized card key locks, voice mail and data ports.

  • 9 Fully Handicapped Rooms with the roll-in shower and 20 Handicapped Accessible rooms

The Rosen Plaza Hotel is home to eight dining/lounging options offering cuisine from gourmet to deli fare.

  • Jack’s Place, multiple year recipient of Orlando Magazine’s “Best Restaurant on International Drive” award, offers superb dining while surrounding its guests with the world’s largest collection of autographed caricatures. Prime steak and fresh seafood are served in this casual fine dining establishment.
  • Café Matisse offers bountiful buffets as well as full-service menus for breakfast.
  • Lite Bite offers deli sandwiches, snacks and convenience items 24 hours a day.
  • Smoooth Java, proudly serving Starbucks™, offers guests the tradition of a European Café including a welcome atmosphere to mix and mingle.
  • Rosen Plaza is home to 3NINE, playing musical favorites, with daily drink specials and live entertainment every weekend.
  • The Lobby Lounge offers daily happy hour with hors d’oeuvres.
  • In-Room Dining is available for your convenience from 6:30am – 11:00pm.

A tropical swimming pool, waterfall and jacuzzi are perfect for sunbathing. Rosen Plaza is across the street from Pointe Orlando, an open-air shopping, dining and entertainment complex situated on a 17-acre site that boasts a diverse array of one-of-a-kind attractions, restaurants and stores, including Wonderworks, Muvico Pointe 21 Theatres, The Capital Grille, Maggianos Little Italy, BB King’s and Tommy Bahama Tropical Café.
